Arizona Evertonians Assemble in Phoenix

Had a great time with a group of mates from Phoenix assembled at the Rose and Crown in Phoenix, Arizona Saturday morning. We are attempting to make the Rose and Crown the official Toffee bar in Arizona and will regroup this Saturday to view a sound drubbing of Chelsea.

Highlights:
- Great bunch of true blue mates
- Great location in downtown Phoenix
- Make your own Bloody Mary bar (yes, there were bacon slices at the bar)
- Validated parking
- Carlos the bartender
- Black IPA on Nitrous
- Mist system on the patio (it was 95 degrees F at kickoff)
- Can still hear the match from the WC
- Two actual British lids showed up!
- $4 breakfast

Lowlights:
- Small RS banner behind the bar (was ceremoniously removed prior to kickoff)
- Lack of Toffee flags, banners, Big Dunk posters, etc. anywhere (will be remedied Saturday)
- Don't go behind the bar unless you work there
- Giroud
- Folks watching the match can hear you in the WC

(And that's just Phoenix. We have a handful of Evertonians in Tucson, including a Scouser - or at least a Brit ex-pat - who moved to Tucson.)

Some dedicated Yank Evertonians are on that, @thirdmantackle - working hard on Twitter and FB.

Perhaps we could change the title to American Evertonians, and post up some of the other group pics as well. Some decent turn-outs.

And logos. Lots of creative logos designed to tie to the club to the location. Makes a couple stodgy Evertonians fume, which is always fun.

Everton USA does a good job coordinating the supporters groups across the US (and Canada?), but nice work from @LocoKip and the other AZ Toffees.

Everton USA has been fantastic. Large and continually growing network of groups around the country. Chances are there's one nearby if you live in almost any decent sized city.
