Some years ago it read a article comparing Bristol city and Bristol rovers . part of it said ' although city draw much of their support from the council estates of south Bristol and are ( slightly) the younger of the two clubs They have always been seen as the " aristocratic' Bristol club..as a outsider i wonder what evertonian perceptions are of other clubs and other city rivalries. For instance i have spent a fair amount of time in Birmingham and while the passion of Birmingham city fan's is admirable their obsessive hatred for Aston villa is at best amusing. Surley anyone from outside Birmingham would consider villa to be the bigger and certainly the more ' aristocratic' of the two clubs.. for what it's worth when i was younger i always thought of Everton as being classier and somehow just nicer than Liverpool. I got a lot wrong when i was a kid.But i think that i got that right.
