You see the cops arresting old people on Hogmanay in Scotland for having a drink? Whitty wanted to implement that here but got over ruled because somebody said to him people need a life so back off!!! But I take it you would of followed your mentor diwn that road?
 
Reports coming in that Geoff Hoon (former defence sec) has said that he was ordered to destroy papers that said the war in Iraq could have been illegal. Serious stuff for Blair if true and can be proved he gave that order.
