Are you happy when former players are successful?

Player Valuation: £225k
Since many players that were on the team when I first found the club (or it found me) are leaving, I can't help but wonder if I should be happy when they do well. Jelavic and Anichebe have scored recently, while Heitinga and Yobo have had clean sheets. Am I the only one who likes to see them playing well, or should I be upset that we let them leave?

Yes, by and large I like to see ex players doing well.

I really hope Jelavic recovers his golden touch and Victor was always a favourite of mine.

(I wish we still had him on the books)

Arteta is another one I like to see doing well.

Of course, there are others I like to see falling flat on their faces....Barmby of course and Lescott.

Even Fellani simply because it contributes to Motes's downfall at OT.

Some players just don't look right in a non Everton kit for me.
I like to see the younger lads who didn't make our first team do well though.
I never liked watching linekers career once he left us though ( just as one example )

I'll come clean and say no I'm not, unless its about three divisions lower and they have no chance of getting snapped up by a club that they will be ace for.

I only really want to see players being boss for us or when they're playing against the sh*te at club level.

But then I'm a small minded tit.

Small mind, MASSIVE HEAD.

Depends how they left I think. If they went with good grace then I hope they do well.
So, for most of them (Arteta, Cahill, Vic, Heitinga, Jela, etc), I am happy for them to do well.
Not so happy with Fella/Lescott as they seemed to be angling for a move before they left.
Well done Big Vic, first goal Chelsea have conceded in a while.

I am a victim on internet bullying and the mods of GOT stand back and allow it to happen.

They're complicit in this. I'm taking legal advice and may sue.

It's 21st century bear baiting, I say. Horrors.

I'll tell your solicitor to do one, you large-domed beaut.

Don't mind seeing the dearly departed do well myself, long as it doesn't hurt Everton.

Yes i like to see them do well, some players just didnt fit in at Everton but still tried thier best but it wasnt to be. Vic and Jelavic for example, those i like to see do well. Not to fused about Felliani but mainly because i am enjoying Moyes failure. These ex players, Arteta for example i know will also want Everton to do well once they have left, its a mutual thing, once Everton has touched you...etc

The odd one for me is Rooney, i enjoyed watching him play great football (before Moyes went there), maybe it was because of his talent or the time he was at Everton was a period when i knew we couldnt hang on to him, so it was easier to accept.

Usually if they go to a bigger club I could care less. I find myself rooting for the likes of Vic, Yobo, Jela and AJ more than I do say Arteta who was my favorite player at Everton. Heitinga will do very well because I don't think he's wired well to be a sub.

The only one I actively rooted against was Lescott.
