I'd say that you're likely to be a happy man then , lid . Imminently , Cocka .

Btw , WE said about Krancjar as an aside, last week or whenever , an' , VIOLA !!!

The Red-Tops put it out like they ALWAYS KNEW AN' HAD TOLD US IN THE SUMMER !!!

Fukn priceless .

I can confirm the great, shiny oracle did indeed drop this knowledge on me yonks ago.

And I hope to God it comes to fruition. "Imminently"... colour me excited.

:)

Even if he's a bit 'static', i'm sure Moyes can instil a bit of momentum in him. He's good at that [Poor language removed].

IF it comes about, i'll be pleased.

"On 1 September 2009, Kranjčar joined Tottenham Hotspur from Portsmouth after the two clubs agreed a transfer fee of around £1-2 million, although the actual price was undisclosed. The deal was completed just before the transfer deadline passed.[23] It was reported that Everton had made a late bid to sign Kranjčar, but the player opted to sign for Spurs, stating that: "Everton is also a big club but, in the end, the tradition and greatness of Tottenham made the difference. I also knew manager Harry Redknapp, and Luka Modrić and Vedran Ćorluka told me great things about the club" Wikipedia

I hadn't realised we were that close to getting him. It sounds like he wouldn't see it as a step down then.

Did he just say they had a better history than us? Pretty sure we're quite even for honours. In fact, I think it's us and Villa quite even, with spuds below that.

Although he obviously he would have wanted to make a good impression with the spurs fans, so I'll take it with a pinch of salt.

I would expect that knowing the manager and players was actually a bigger sway.
