Are we battling for 4th?

This will be a new season full of new challenges with the addition, hopefully, of a good run in Europe. We have kids coming through and some will make it to the first team, based on our signings to date, I believe Moyes thinks the same. As another person said above don't worry about others, barcodes will not finish higher than us for starters, take each match in turn and we will improve on last term
 

Strange the way no one has mentioned Portsmouth in this thread. They are quietly going about their business again. Have we all wrote them off?

I think they will do well again. I class them as much better then the Barcodes. And redknapp pisses all over Fat Sam when it comes to being a manager.

Maybe Nugent will bite us in the ass by settling into the prem in the first attempt and compensate for Kanu's lack of hit rate.
 
And didnt their succesful period come when a certain Manuel Fernandez was at the club? When he left they fell away. Coincidence??

I dont think they'll be as strong next year. Mid table I predict.

didn't he play less than 6 matches or something?
 
We start the season in 8th position due to alphabetical orders. What would be priceless is to never fall below that place all through the season. up up and away.

Perhaps... and perhaps not. Only time will tell, but I still rate Newcastle ahead of Portsmouth... but I hope I'm wrong. :)
