Are fans affecting the integrity of the league?

Pretty sure you are correct, when a home side is doing well, fighting back/defending late.

But in the wider world, its a testing thing really. So not that important.

1)
Why is the tier system stupid?
2)
You’re making a big assumption that 2,000 supporters make a difference.

It's another * league, no fans for all then 2000 fans for some, none for others, then it could be 4000 fans for some none for others or 1 or 2 games with 2000 fans then back in tier 3 so no fans again.

Not really fair is it

Not wanting to turn this into another COVID thread, but it's stupid because people move from one area to the next all the time, for work as an example.

So you can have someone who lives in Tier 2 go to work in Tier 3, vice versa, so on and so forth.

It's stupid. It only exists to keep London open as long as possible.

And 2,000 fans make a big difference, as seen at Goodison yesterday.

Yep exactly my point. Should have kept the fan ban in place if it couldn't be done for every club, as it's a competitive advantage.

Yes - it will help some teams more that others, especially murderpool, who get to play key title rivals at home with fans, when they've already played the away games without fans in the stands.

It's another * season whatever happens - they will prob cave on the subs anyway soon and change that to 5, with herr Shipman's continued cryarsing.

There is no integrity to this league anyway - the var/monitor joke on be pen for Fulham today proved that.

But doesnt having a fan soundtrack to a game give you some hope that this may be getting more hopeful?

Thats more important, in the wider world.

No, because I'm talking specifically about a football competition - that and that alone.

I have no problem with fans being back; as long as they're allowed back across the board. Otherwise it's a competitive advantage.

There's always been financial advantages in football, but that's in-built in the rules we know - City are richer, they'll be better than, say, Burnley - is what it is, all clubs compete with that knowledge. There's been ground capacity - Old Trafford holds more than Craven Cottage. Again in theory an advantage.

But when you start a season with set rules, the competition should then continue with those set rules or basically be null and void. It's like allowing only some teams five subs halfway through a season - would be ridiculous.

As people above say, it's an asterisk league again.

I understand that mate, and you are not wrong.

But it just doesnt exercise me. Last season, this season, both are tainted/compromised. But if sport can do its bit to get a bit of normality back to folk, I havnt got the energy to get worked up about it.
