Are Everton Fans like The Irish and lost the run of themselves.In Ireland it was all about private jets and trips to the C amens,inEverton it was all about Europe.Can you see the similarities about over expectations?:P

Talking about facts here lad.People in Ireland ,well some of them,over spent over spent their dreams.Dont know where you are from and quite frankly dont care muppett,but it happend.The Bnks caused the problem in Ireland because people were gready.People were living behond their means.I have two houses because of the Celtic tiger but one mortgage.I was cautious,one of the few.My comparison between Ireland,my country and dont you ever question my love for it(muppett),and Everton is that our aspirations have out run reality.Right now 6th would be a great finish.
Take it by your use of the word mupett you are a Dubliner or a West Brit.
 
I'm Irish alright. I don't disagree with you about our fellow country men being ridiculous. In fact i worked for one of those banks and was embarrased going to work or mentioning who i worked for. I just disagree with the start of the "Irish" anagolgies being used by our fellow europeans as if we are to blame as the worlds issues when it comes to economies. From the fun loving drunk irish jokes to the irresponsible thick paddys.

Whether or not we as a country lived beyond our means the last people i like seeing insulting there own is an irishman. Have a bit of pride. Mate.

And by the way i am neither a "westbrit" nor a dub.

Either way your analogy still doesn't fit Everton we were a sudden rich country who blew it all and lived beyond our means. Everton just lived beyond their means
