Ahh nice. I will give that a look in a bit. You ever seen them live?

Best.Show.Ever. Saw them in Manchester couple of years ago, someone repped me once in here for saying they were there also, never knew who it was though, ha

No, I cannot WAIT until they come back to the US. I'm just hoping they play St. Louis and I don't have to travel to Chicago or KC (both of which are 4 hours away).

Saw them at Ally Pally on the Neon Bible tour and at the O2 last year. Both fantastic gigs. Nice to seem them getting this gong, they're a super band, and very, very good live.

Hope they do man, seen them twice. I'd do anything for a 3rd time! Seriously mind blowing how good they were. I was actually shocked on just how good

Which is your favourite album out of the 3?

You going to see the Foals and the Naked and Famous by the way?

I still think their debut is one of the best records of all time.

Yep! Got my tix for The Foals, Freelance Whales (who are GREAT - check them out) and The Naked and Famous. The club is TINY. They're playing the same place I saw Tokyo Police Club. It's seriously almost the same size as some finished basements I've seen here in the States haha. Can't wait. Gonna see Ra Ra Riot with the Pomegranates (don't know them) before then though. Also just got my ticket for The Decemberists in April. Some tasty shows coming up.

I defo agree.

I think Rebellion (Lies) is possibly one of the greatest tracks ever. No Cars Go, Wake Up etc etc....all up there. I actually don't know what my favourite track is.

Same here. They're all equally good in different ways.

Not my favourite album of the year, but yeah, it's ace and they're ace. For once someone deserving won an award!

Awards for music are kinda silly because it's a matter of preference and taste not like football where there's a winner and loser. But it's heartening to see a band like Arcade Fire get the highest recognition you can get from the music industry. For and indie band to win Album of the Year is just incredible. It's like Everton winning the league! You think it SHOULD happen but you don't think it actually WILL.

Well Arcade Fire aren't a steaming pile of perpetual disappointment, and they know how to perform, and how to do it consistently, so I'd say it's nothing like Everton winning the league!

But yeah, this is heartening. Coupled with the new Radiohead announcement, this is a great day for music buffs like myself.
