So I've just picked up my first decent size aquarium at 36Gl, I love 'em! I really do! I don't know what it is about them (aside from the fact they remind me of doctors surgeries) but they're relaxing, enjoyable and very low maintenance.

I now have a 10Gl one downstairs and my 36Gl is upstairs.

I've put 6 fish in there yesterday and they all ate this morning - which pleases me.

I've put in some Convict Cichlids x 2, 1 x Jewel Cichlid, 1 x Jack Dempsey, 1 x Oscar and 1 x long weird thing that reminds me of an eel and is a bottom dweller!

Anyone else enjoy an aquarium?

I like going to big aquariums, provided they have sharks

The one in London is very good from what I can recall. They have Piranhas in there, as well as Sting Rays that you're allowed to touch

They hardly eat to be honest which is good

I used to have one a long time ago, over 30 years ago. I loved it, found the cleaning a pain, i'd imagine it's all changed now though.

I think cichlids are pretty territorial, i've had Kribensis and other cichlids, and they just guarded one corner.

Tropical ones are ok but Marine Aquariums look boss.,although I believe they take quite a bit of looking after.
