Player Valuation: £40m
This came up on Twitter earlier.

I'm saying a fine as a punishment because I don't believe the FAPL have the nuts to relegate/points deduction.

Somebody suggested 10m, laughable as that's less than half a Rhian Brewster.

What do you feel is appropriate?

Ban them for life.

The more I see of Perez's comments and the clubs "apologies" the more it annoys me.

As for the fans and players the players can just move on to somewhere else, the players can enjoy rising through the divisions with their new phoenix clubs as they are "big" clubs they will come up straight away.

Actually just ban them from their games being shown on TV for a year or two, complete media blackout for them.

They can still play etc but their boss fans will soon tire of not being able to watch their boys every week from their couches and will soon start to do other things.

Make them proper pariahs.

I think 3 things should happen

1) A very large fine for them all which is distributed through the football league and non-league

2) A ban on competing in europe for the next 2-3 seasons

3) Rule changes by the PL so that everything is legally watertight and that any future negotiations in a breakaway, without consent of the league, will result in automatic expulsion from the league. They would have to start again at the bottom of the non-league structure.

Money won't hurt billionaires unfortunately. Harsh punishment by relegation has to be an option. Money would be pointless.
Unfortunately I don't see the league having the nuts to do that. I read The Esk blog yesterday and his suggestion would be wonderful. Relegate all six so at least 3 are down for at least 2 seasons.

Just can't see it.
Ban them from Europe for three seasons, it will kill them and players won’t be happy.
It would, but they just don't have the nuts.
Chuck them out.

Arsed. Let them play fantasy football for ever. They have proven they dont care about any of the other 86 clubs in England, well, 86 out votes 6 every day of the week.
Agreed, but it won't happen. If Leeds, Southampton and Villa had refused to play it would have brought matters to a head, but you just know they would be the ones punished.
Are the Premier League going to punish their cash cows of ManU, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal? I think they are likely to take a pragmatic approach.
Exactly. Same for a CL ban from UEFA.

They're terrified.

A huge fine is the only option available.
