Apple TV

Thinking about getting an Apple TV box so that I can mirror my iPad on TV to show family pictures, play music and stream videos. Does anyone have this? Is it worth it? Its on offer at the moment on groupon and just wondered if people thought it was worth the money. (sits back and waits for people to slate Apple for being overpriced)

I like tech, got iPhone, iPads & MacBooks etc, I see Apple TV as pointless.

I was looking to turn TV into another display. I guess a HDMI cable and my laptop is a much cheaper way to do it

I'd say yes mate.

I paid £100 for mine years ago, and only recently have I really seen the benefits of it.

If you ever got the CartoonsHD app before it was removed then it's vital!

In fact i'd go as far as to say £69 is a bargain.
