Have heard tell that in some establishments in North America the aforementioned apple pie may be served with cheese FFS

(for film afficianados it's actually what De Niro's character orders when on his date with Cybill Shepperd in Taxi Driver)

but FMT gets it right for me, if the pie/cake is cold... then the sauce/cream should be hot, or vice versa

1) Was the apple pie hot or cold?
2) Was it a warm day or cold?
I ask because if it was a warm day then I would want it with ice cream, but on a cold day I would want it with custard,
Failing that, pig out have both, but then comes the question do you have the ice cream first or the custard?

Apple pie cold = Ice Cream or single cream...not whipped cream, Whipped Cream should only be applied when naked, you can be the applior OR the appliee, you choice, but naked IS compulsory...at least that's what Hayee told me

Anyway, the answer is single cream, poured liberally over both hot pie and cold ice cream.

I have noticed lots of people saying that crumble is better, and i agree. But, i was given pie so we have to stick to the facts.

I chose to have ice cream, as did one other. There was 2 / 7 of us so that is 28%. Less than GOT percentage.
