Just back from hospital after having my Appendix out(they got to it before it ruptured) but the pain was something else???

I know a few other GOT'ers have had the same operation - What was your recovery times folks?? I had the big cut 5-6 inches not the keyhole.

Worried about the walk to/from car park tomorrow!!

full recovery was achieved sometime around may 1985.

Had mine out just before Christmas. Was an emergency op so it was a bit scary!

I have a big scar, even the staple marks! Was the worst pain I've ever experienced and the recovery wasn't any better.

I had mine out a couple of years ago, I remember being doubled over and on morphine but in all honesty, I can't remember what it felt like.

Recovery was ok, got signed off for longer than I needed.
