What happened to him? He certainly looked lively when he was on a good run of form. It would be a shame if he leaves because he can't see himself making the first team.

Looked like a decent player, imagine him and Straq upfront - to be honest i think they would make a good partnership!

Would like to see more of him really, he is a good sub to bring on
 
It'd be nice to see him play tomorrow, or at least a few appearances between now and the end of the season. To be honest I haven't seen enough of him to know how capable he is though. He's scored some good CF goals, has a decent touch and is good in the air. He's no Marcus Bent in terms of effort though and he seems a tad slow. Need to see a bit more of him yet. Straq and Vic are above him in the pecking order though and deservedly imo.
 

jelavic has replaced straq, who replaced velli, who replaced saha, who replaced chubby happy cheeks, who replaced...

I think there is an arc here.
 

If Straq isn't staying longer than this season (which I believe he shouldn't), than in games like tonight Vellios should be a starting striker or at the very least on the bench.

He deserves it for his form in earlier season games as much as he does for his prospect as a player.
