Glad nobody died and hope every body makes full recovery.

So, on to probable causes;

Given that the place is donkey's years old and if it was going to fall down due to bad design it would've gone years ago

i) A lack of Inspection / Maintenance...the water always leaked on to those beams, nails, bolts. Dryrot, whats that Guv. thought it was a famous old Brian Rix Farce.

ii) New work / improvements have been recently carried out.

Lots of CYA, checking policies and briefing QC's to come.

New lows, Nik. Impressive that you've managed it really.

It's just that I, like most people, tend to remember when someone has sounded a monumental knobhead.

Asbergers is not a 'mental illness'.....its a condition that is controlled and with understanding is pretty harmless. What was said was a bit like saying somebody had measles.
