Are known to have one of the most racist followings in Russian football.
Roberto Carlos left the pitch on only his 3rd appearance for the club after the pitch was littered with bananas.
With that in mind, here's a list of their recent transfers.............

Lassana Diarra
Arafat Djako
Ewerton
Lacine Traore
Christopher Samba
Samuel Eto'o
Mehdi Carcela

Still can't believe the World Cup is heading there!

there ya go much better.

racism in this day and age is inexusable, im sorry

Seems to sum modern day football up though, that 4 out of that list are rich beyond their wildest dreams even before anzhi came knocking. So surely you would think, after doing a bit of research on the club and country, and considering the leagues they were already playing in, and other offers they must have had on the table, why the ***k put yourself and your family in such a position?

Most of their squad live in Moscow, and train there daily. They are only flown down for matches, and spend as little time as possible in Mackachkala itself.

The city and region are desperately poor; much of the place is without basic utilities such as electricity and/or running water 24/7. The roads are barely in a condition which meets that description.

Yet they pay Eto 250,000 a week.........

I think Carlos left the pitch because of abuse at an away game, but yep, Russia is a joke with racism.

In the near future the RPL is going to be up there with the best in the world .their are a handful of very competitive teams and more on the rise . i think this transfer window they are the second league to spend the most behind the premiership and the transfer window there hasnt closed yet . most of the clubs have big budgets , a lot of new stadiums and infrastructure being built for WC 2018 . Serie A will be overtaken in 2 years imo . all the clubs in Serie A have empty pockets sell their best players abroad and just loan players to eachother or sign freebies and rejects these days plus bar the Juventus stadium all the others need desperate upgrading .

The thing is, you have to wonder if a Superleague type thing isn't the natural step. A few teams seem to be attracting all the money in each league, and therefore most of the titles.

I mean you have to think Anzhi could dominate the Russian league. PSG should really do the same in France. Barca and Real already do in Spain. Here it's a three way competition between City/United/Chelsea. Italy aren't as strong as they used to be for sure, but Juve and Milan are still competitive. Bayern are obvious candidates in Germany, with perhaps Dortmund too.

For histories sake you could add in an Ajax or Benfica, but you could see how it'd happen. It would only take one of these super rich blokes to come along and suggest a breakaway league, especially as Platini wants to cap what they can spend on players.
