Not sure if this should go here, the Ale House or World Football so I plumped for here.

I'm always losing lighters and whenever I buy a new one I always ask for any colour but red. It has occurred to me that. although the colour red suits me, I never wore it outside of work when I was a postman (when all my blue shirts were in the wash and I only had the red ones available) and never will at all now I am self-employed. I don't think I am the only one so I thought I'd ask what lengths others go to to avoid the dredded [sic.] red?

I had a row over a rug with the other half recently and created a thread about it. I was not alone in the avoidance of anything red.

Avoid it too, however if Andrex broadened its colour range I may be tempted ;)

Not a colour I want to see in that situation to be honest.

I own one item of unworn red clothing. Not a fan.

As a general rule, I try to avoid any red apparel, although the odd national shirt has slipped in as a gift in the past.
And the wife bought me two shirts, with red & blue checks on. But I don't necessarily class those as "red". It's tops which are a block of red which I try to avoid wearing. I also quit a Sunday league team when they changed their kit from blue & white to red & white.

Glad to see the RS have launched a 3rd strip which is blue :)

Hope Kitbag don't get ANY ideas.

to the extend of "losing" the red jumper my mother kindly bought for me at Xmas. Good intentions totally wasted on me.

The only things I possess that are red are the pair of San Francisco 49ers jerseys I have, my British and Irish Lions shirt, a Stanford Rugby shirt, Waterloo Rugby tour shirt, and a few of those under armour type things.

That's actually about it. I was once in possession of the odd England shirt but then I decided I'd rather not waste my well-scavved money.
