It's either dirt that's got between the pad and disc or the pad is worn down to the metal. Most modern cars have brake pad warning indicators so it's almost certainly the former. If it doesn't clear within a few days take it into a main dealer.

Torch it and claim on the insurance, torching it with your future wife in it is optional, the money saved on the wedding will more than cover the increased insurance premium and leave you a enough left over for a nice holiday and a season ticket.
