I went to school with him, he was an Evertonian. He wore an Everton kit in training at All Saints in Kirkby. I believe he was in Form S or T on the opposite side of the year to me, can't quite remember which. His family was heavily Red but Leighton himself was an Evertonian. He's a quiet lad, but proper, proper sound.

End of discussion really. Unless someone can convince me that I completely imagined high school then that's that.
