Yes in the UK it would be for the most part in London I believe. For Germany I would need to check first to be sure but I would hazard a guess at Berlin and possibly also Bonn.

Definitely Bonn. The UN have a university there & loads of huge multinationals based there including Deutsche Post.

I am in the final year pof my International Relations degree at Leicester University and to be honest I have really enjoyed it. Its a fascninating subject and one that you can really get quite deep into during a three year course. Expect to do a lot since the start of the Cold war but mainly since 1990. Purely for the course I couldn't reccomend it as a topic enough. The one thing is that it doesn't lead directly into a job which depending on where you are in your life could be a bad thing. I am looking at NGO's and interest groups but right now I am not sure exactly what I want to do. You do get quite a generic degree skill base though soyou will be reasonably well set up for most offficey sort of jobs. I would be happy to answerany questions if you have them?

In fact I am meant to be doing an essay right now,but about to [Poor language removed] it off to go drinking. You have to be at least semidecent at managing your time and motivating yourself to do well in it. Your contact hours will be limited.

Yeah I've been to UNU - I think some of their govt institutions were left there aswell following reunification. In terms of the big firms there is also Telekom there I think.
