was listening to The Football Show on SiriusXM satellite radio on the drive into work this morning. One of the hosts, Charlie Stillitano mentioned that he's hearing that Everton might be taken over by an NFL owner. I'm assuming that he's talking about Steve Ross. Don't know about Stillitano's credibility - he does seem to have some connections across the pond but at the same time, he's a name dropper - "you know Giorgio...I was talking to Sir Alex on the phone yesterday..." Probably baseless speculation...especially since this initial rumor came out a month ago. Who knows...maybe it's gaining traction.

Charlie Stillitano is actually pretty tight with Sir Alex and his son from what I've gathered.
