Player Valuation: £950k
I think we have had a good solid start to the season. Lets put things in perspective, we have no money so our realistic target can only be to finish top 10 and at best 7th and hope to get a European place. We are sitting comfortably in tenth going into the new year, whats there to complain about?
I hate this talk of 'We are Everton, it is our right to finish above Stoke, Newcastle etc.. because that isn't how football works. All things considering, a point at a rejuvanted Sunderland is a good point. We have Donovan coming in soon which will definately make us stronger and I believe Moyes will add another player as well.

All this anti Moyes stuff is nonsense, where do you really think we should be? do you really think if we just attacked every game we would be right up there? You cant just go to Sunderland when they have a new inspiring manager and attack and win with a similar strength squad.

Every team in the league slates their manager and has ridiculous expectations and it just doesn't help. How about getting behind Moyes and maybe we can finish well in the league and if we are lucky some investment could be round the corner.

People need to be more reasonable, every team moans about their manager but in hindsight Moyes is one of the best and his league places prove it. Its human instict to moan at things when they aren't going well but when you look at our squad, Moyes again is doing a great job this season and people getting on his back are causing more harm to the team than good.

I think its more about the way we are playing our football,It ranks as some of the worst in the league

No mate.

Although I see your point.

It's just that we play the worst form of football. If we were 10th playing lovely stuff then I don't think these threads would be here.

I'd say ^^^ this ^^^
We were in a similar league position this time last year. Was there the same amount of fuming back then ?

How many teams in the league actually play good football though? We did play good football with Moyes as manager when we had the players to play good football, we dont have that luxury anymore, i'm sure if we tried to then results would suffer which is the case for most teams who try to play good football but dont have the quality to really pull it off.

We have played gash football and got beat and drew against teams we should be spanking 5/6 nil.

The odd fluke result such as Blackburn makes it look better points wise, but its been awful so far.

I see what you are saying but I belive we have better players than most teams around us

I guess ive more belief that the squad is better than how Moyes gets them playing.

You don't need money to play decent football.

At the moment its been a season of fortunate wins, lucky draws, and deserved losses

I guess youre referring to Swansea, Norwich, and Wba for eg?

They dont have a team full of internationals and highly rated, £20million+ players

Our tactics and mentality for 2 seasons has been poor

4 points at home against the three promoted sides. Awful football. Terrible team choices.

No, i do not think we have had a good start. The only reason we're not lower down the table is because teams who normally hover around the middle of the table like Bolton are even more gash than us. We're lucky to be 10th.

mate, i love your optimism but now imagine this:

1 - Blackburn scored their penalties and we lost that game.

2 - Zamora didn't miss an open goal and we lost that game.

3 - Osman didn't fall flat on his arse today and Webb didn't give a dodgy penalty - we lose again.

We have played horrible unadventourous football, relied on set pieces to score and been very lucky. We could easily be in a relegation fight now.

Been **** but if we were to beat WBA, 24 points gives us a decent shout at getting over 50 if we have our usual better second half. 50 odd should get us top 8 this year.
