going to madrid for weekend of 4th march with the mrs, thinking of going to see madrid v espanyol! tickets are a fortune on the net mind, anyone had experience of getting tickets a few days before match day from the ground?
also anyone been and what was your experience like? cheers
 

Never been, but do they sell out? And Espanyol - aren't they based in the old olympic stadium in Barca?
 
Only been to the Mestalla, to watch Madrid though lucky enough. Bought tickets on the day outside from a tout for 30 Euros. If you're buying more than 1 ticket, make you check they're sat together. Some of my friends fell for that error
 

Only been to Camp Nou. There was ticket kiosks in the city centre, tickets were expensive though, about 80euro.

A totally different experience to a game in the UK. There was people sitting around me having picnics and playing cards. Mental.

Barca beat seville 3-1 and i seen Ronaldinho get 2 and a young messi get the other.

Yea it was the same. I sang a song about loving Pablo Aimar, but that was about all the attention the game got from the locals. Bottles of wine, hampers, the lot. The noise was immense though, proper stadiums, plus seeing the likes if Figo, Ronaldo, Raul, Zidane etc was pretty good
