Hi Guys,

the sexy one here.

Got some 5.1 surround sound speakers for xmas.

the woman tripped over them within a day of them being up and snapped one of the needles to be plugged into the subwoofer. anyway, that's all fixed now, but my speakers make a thudding heartbeat sound every 5 or so seconds. I initially thought it was just the sub-woofer because when i unplugged that then sound went away. But unplugging it yesterday and the sound remains in the other speakers.

Anybody know what causes this sound/fixes?

I've done all your standard testing i.e. pulling each speaker out and making sure they're fitted properly etc. tried google but no help.

Diolch yn fawr,

have you tried killing the bitch for f'kin up your speakers?

yeah but then i'd have to pay full rent. pissed her off enough by not asking how she was.

how she was ffs? it was a tiny bloody wire, how was i suppose to know someone could actually fall and hurt themselves tripping over that.

Turn it off at the wall.... Wait twenty seconds....switch it back on.

been like it for a while so have turned it off over night and back on in the morning and no luck.

ah i don't know what to think now - still heartbeat even with it unplugged.

cheers golden,

had a new needle fitted which is now a different colour that when i first recieved it (due to the tripping incident) they'll clearly notice that.

this will count against me right?
