I know Time Warner didn't help, and Vince Russo came up with some of the most ridiculous ideas in wrestling history but The Bisch was the man in charge so has to take the blame, as i'm sure he takes the credit for sticking it to Vince for 2 years.

Actually, when Russo was in charge, bishoff wasnt associated with the company. I've watched the Monday Night Wars DVD FAR too many times!

You sure about that? I thought he was in charge all the way through till the buy out, but ive only seen Monday Night Wars once so won't argue too much!

And to be fair, most things that happened during Russo booked WCW have probably been erased from my memory lol.

Im positive about it. He says (and this is from memory) "I few out to Komi Wyomee [spelling?], where I keep a house, and went Fly Fishing for about 3 months". He then tried to get back the control of WCW, but he couldnt. He then tried to buy WCW, but Ted Turner wouldnt give him the air time... hence why VKM bought it, and the rest is (damn good) history!
