Normally we just go to the match and then go home but next saturday my Mrs is coming with me and have decided to make a weekend of it. Just been looking at the prices of hotels near the city centre and not cheap!!!
So we're looking for a b&b that's still easy to get to the city centre for Saturday night and maybe a look round the shops Sunday morning and then to the important bit Sunday afternoon. She fancy the city centre on saturday night or the docks but I have to admit maybe a bit of a local area pub crawl, as long as theirs a bit of life in a few pubs, so open to suggestions.

try the premier inn by aintree station . 15 minutes from town and less ten minutes to kirkdale for goodison .

It's not a B and B but it might be cheap enough

B&B's?

I saw one on Sheil road last week decked out in UKIP propoganda.

We don't tend to do them round here, have you tried Airbnb?

PM me, one of my best mates runs a b@b - barn conversion with outbuildings, which are superb and very reasonably priced.
He's a massive blue, works at Finch Farm and the match, so will give you a lift in too and won't charge,

Penny Lane Hotel looks nice. Might be a bit pricey, I've never looked, but you can get the 68 bus to Goodison and there are tonnes of buses to town.
