Without google here, but I believe they have been a working / gigging band for years before they 'made it'.. thats what makes them decent live..
I have commented on Jarvis Cocker and Joey Barton within 5 mins here.. Both tits.. but have their own qualities non the less...

I love Pulp, regularly listen to the Glastonbury gig from when they replaced the Roses. Different Class is still an album which never gets old. Live they are top class aswell, its just a shame they dont release more music.

Underwear is such a cracking tune, Sorted for E'z and Wizz and This is Hardcore are my top 3

I am listening to a lot of Johnny Marr stuff right now as well.. his new album ( oldies ) is decent.
Some fantastic interviews out there.. he just seems sound..
