Pre-family used to play a lot online. Mostly cash tables but also a few tournaments, many a Sunday night/Monday morning playing in that Pokerstars Millionaire game. Used to do quite well at times to be fair, but it takes up too much time, which I've not had for years.

Played in Vegas over the same time period as well, mostly cash tables but also a few tournaments. Quite enjoy the live cash games there if you get a sociable table, played with Jermain Taylor one night. The other side of that, is when you get the lads playing in groups to win their tournament entry money, from the casual holiday makers of a night. Seen some quite sly ones, dotted around the table targeting different people.

Haven't played for years.

Like to give it a go but playing online just seems crushingly boring? Seems like it's something you need to do face to face with friends, as the challenge and complexity all comes from the betting and psychology. The actual mechanics of the card game are trivial, so you wouldn't really just play the cards for fun.

Yeah its grim on line, i use to do it and realized after a while I was doing the fool and his money are soon parted thing, I don't even trust it, the amount of times someone went all in on a shocking hand only to pull a winning card on the river, a real player in a casino for example would of folded but not these clowns. I started to question if it was a real person i was playing or some computer
