No ... showerBath.
In my experience it is.Nope
He has and he is lolIn my experience it is.
But feel free to disagree.
That's exactly what I was hoping to avoid but I can see why plumbers do it that way. If there is a problem with any of the things you've bought in the future then the plumber has an argument to say it wasn't his fault. Less liability if he doesn't buy them for you.Had our en-suite done last September. We bought the shower, and sink unit on-line from Victoria Plum, the tiles and grout from Topps tiles, the lights from Amazon, heated towel radiator and vinyl flooring from Wickes.
The fitter provided labour, building materials, including all the plastering and electricals including shower pump. - Worked out really well.
True - but the downside is you will probably end-up forking out more for it. There's a website called mybuilder.com. You can specify the job you want doing and how you want it done. Once that happens tradesmen will show an interest in the job. You can then select a shortlist and start the quotes process. That's exactly what I was hoping to avoid but I can see why plumbers do it that way. ...and Still don't pay all the money in advanceGood shout!! I need to know what to do when I drop the soap in the shower.
I'm going to be getting a new en suite fitted in the next 2 or 3 months so I'm shopping around for where to buy all the bits from. I'll be fitting a new shower enclosure, toilet & sink and ideally want to buy everything all from one place including wall tiles and flooring. Any suggestions on good places to look online apart from the obvious one I'd find on page 1 of a Google search? I'm in Lancashire but I'm assuming any decent place would do delivery for that kind of order.
