Player Valuation: £15m
I have couple of young player and other I think we ought to be getting, like the one I mention before like O'Hara which is a upgrade replacement to Carsley.

Can't call Bentley that young but only turn 24 at the start of next season, he has pace and can put good crosses in, he would be looking to leave if Blackburn don't make it to Europe, also Roque Santa Cruz looks decent but he would turn 27 around the start of next season, but I guess he won't come cheap and Blackburn is unlikely to let him go.

Bentley is a different matter his contract would be ending soon as he has been at Blackburn for 3 years now, so if he is intend to leave due to Blackburn not playing in Europe next season, it's no point keeping a unhappy player so they might cash in.

Fred Sears the young striker we meet couple of weeks ago he looks decent as well.

Mauro Matias Zarate the loan signing with Birmingham looks like he has a eye for goal a striker we might be looking for.

Walcott has pace and his time in Arsenal has make him a better all-round player which I fancy having him as one of our wing, he would provide us with much needed pace.

Joe Cole a player I would love to have as our Arteta partner but it won't happen.

Glen Johnson a RB player we are looking for who has pace and could make good crosses.

I would love to see Moyes sign some of these player in the summer, apart from Zarate all the other player are English, fits Moyes bill of signing young English player.

There is couple more young player I did fancy but I did leave it at that, what do you think? Who else do you have in mind?

Apart from young player who else have you got in mind?

I'm going on the premise that we aren't selling anyone (the only ones who I can see getting sold are Johnson and Arteta). Which if either of them are that does changes who I would like alot. So I'm going on the premise that we'll spend 15-20M. I think our starting 11 when fit can play with anyone, besides a RB, RM we need depth. Cheap guys who can come in and do the business when our starters are tired/hurt.

I think we're dreaming if we think we have a chance for Walcott, Cole or Sears.

Haven't had a chance to watch Kallstrom and O'hara. Is Kallstrom a playmaker or a holding mid and how much is he rated?

Bentley may be too expensive, Glen Johnson I don't see Pompey selling. Zarate is rated at 10M can we afford that?

As much as I like Steven Hunt, Coppell said he's never getting sold and we'd have to beat Sunderland in a bidding war.

Here are some guys I'd like:

Maybe a guy like Bentley may be too expensive however I'd rather spend anywhere between 6-8M and pick up Dempsey and Antionio Valencia. Dempsey hit the wall and is playing on a crap team but I think American players sometimes are late bloomers (limited practice time in college - short season in MLS). He reminds me of Cahill alot and I think he could play the right side and fill in for Cahill when Cahill foot breaks again next year. Valencia always seems to get better and better everytime I watch him. Plus he's only 23 and can play RB. He's the main reason why Wigan is staying up this year.

Michael Bradley - Mark Hughes is rumored to love him and is going to put in a 5M bid for him. Hughes is also rumored to take over at Celtic (along with 2000 other managers) so we might not have to worry. So there might be a nasty bidding war for him. Think one of our weakness is offence from Carsley's position. Maybe he could help provide it.

Pedro Mendes - I love Pedro. Teams just dare us to shoot from the top of the box, Arteta won't and unfortately Carsley will. Well there aren't too many players out there who can score from outside the box like he can. He can come in cheap and I think really fit in well. Not sure why he fell out of favor at Pompey but I think he's alot better than Harry thinks.

Given Vaughn's and to a lesser extent AJs frequent injuries I think we could use a cheap bargain rate striker/cf to give us some needed offence/playing time in UEFA group stage matches so we don't have what happened to us against the [Poor language removed] a few weeks ago. The only ones I can think of is McBride and Camara (who every time I watch him always seems to play well).

Howard from Barnsley would not mind either. Nugent might be a good buy if he's let go from Pompey cheap, I don't think he's getting much of a chance at Pompey becasue I've seem flashes of brilliance from time to time.

Yes, Antionio Valencia is another player I didn't mention and like to have around, he is exactly the type of wide player we are looking for.

As for Bentley he might cost us a bit more than we would ike, but his pace and crosses ability is what our team need so it's a big plus to have him around as well.

And yes I am dreaming a bit of have Walcott & Cole around, Walcott is not going to be cheap since Arsenal spent £12M on him but it's not impossible if we have the money, but Cole no chance at all his wages is going to be stupid and not to mention transfer fees.

But I see no reason why we couldn't get Sears who is a young player with great potential it would cost us a bit more than normal young player, but worth it.

Glen Johnson we could get him if we are willing to spend money, Portsmouth would release the player if we paid enough.

Zarate worth £10M why not, we paid £11.25M for Yakubu so why can't we get Zarate, don't forget we were going to buy Fernandes as well last summer.

Now Howard is a interesting one, I think that is one of the cheap player Moyes has mention to the board about player he was looking for.

McBride, Nugent and Camara I am not as interested to have around last summer I would have fancy Camara & Nugent but we must move forward now in the striker department that's why Zarate is mention as a addition and plus to our striker department.

Now Pedro Mendes is another player we could have around, and a slightly different type midfielder to Cahill.

Everyone is talking about Michael Bradley recently so it's needed to be check out if he could replace our Carsley, which I think Jamie O'Hara would be a good replacement for Carsley as well.

Someone mention Arshavin as well.

I think your right bruce i cant see us getting bentley but every time i watch him i wish we could. he is an exceptional player who i think would get into anyones side.
i cant believe arsen wenger let this lad go!!!!

This is Moyes, he'll pull out some people we've never heard of or expected. Bentley certainly won't be one of them.

Moyes will be buying British apparently, so I'd be inclined to agree that we'd barely have heard of them from the lower leagues...

I'd love to see G Barry and J Cole in a blue shirt, but I'm also a realist :)

What the frig has happened to Gardner ?

Anyway, i expect us to go for Giles Barnes, Steve Sidwell and Michael Bradley.

As Bruce says, you can forget about Bentley.

Gardner was only brought in as cover. I never actually expected to see him get a single game. Looks like I might be right.

Arshavin- this lads brilliant. watched the highlights of the UEFA cup the other night when Zenit won 4-1. 1st goal was Arshavins, good run down the right wing into the box. 2nd goal he got an assist after a brilliant run down the left wing. commentator also mentioned he had put other good balls across the face of goal from the byline. this lads pacey, will run at defenders, and isnt scared to shoot. still aged 26 and not only a great option on the wing but he can play forward, great if we get injuries. great goal record aswell, 10 in 33 for Russia, 47 in 214 for Zenit.

what do you guys think of Scott Brown?

We'll never get Arshavin, Zenit are now one of the richest clubs in europe and he's reported to be on wages of £2.5M a year, so unless he fancies a dramatic pay cut then it's a no go i'm afraid.

What about Healy at Fulham?? Bangs in the goals, Job done!

I know we shold be aiming for big high profile names. But, get him in for the cover and let Big Vic or Vaughy out on loan for next season

Would love to see us get 2-3 players coming in with a 'wow' signing. Someone like Bentley, Arshavin or Bent would be great

Well with English players like Moyes wants...Bentley, Young, MGP, Milner, Joe Cole. All worht a shout. Other players - Arshavin, Bradley, Kallstrom etc...

I thought we'd expanded our scouting network to Europe to search for foreign players to help us in europe? Or words to that effect were released by the club a while ago. I don't care who we sign exactly, as long as they're boss and we replace some of the [Poor language removed] in our side, so actually I do care.

I think Wilson Palacios is better than Antonio Valencia
