Anyways, back on topic.. Distin's been back in the papers again today, saying he wants to move to a more ambitious club... he'd be great value for free... a bit more pacey than Stubbs, allowing Joleon to cover at LB or covering for Joey when he goes on his ACN Holidays this year (We desperately need CB cover for Jan Feb).

Suits, I know what you mean about the League Cup, but we've only got a couple of years left this decade to get something in the cabinet, and right now, I'd take that.

i understand fully what your saying, and yes some silverware would be nice, but if the league cup arrives at the expense of league position or embarrassment in europe - then it gets the elbow from me.

FA cup is the important and original domestic cup competition, the league cup is a watered down bastardisation of the original. reminds me of something oddly enough.
