Any Android experts out there?

My wife dropped her Galaxy S8+ phone a while ago and broke the power button. Ever since she's had to make sure the battery never ran out because she wouldn't be able to turn it back on. Today she stupidly let the phone die and when we held the volume and bixby button it came back on but it tries to install an update, fails then goes to a menu screen. Whichever option we choose from that menu it just reboots and ends up at the same menu.

Any ideas on how to fix it without trying a total data reset?

Yeah I cant see any other option than a reset, but it looks bricked from ere like.

I know if you put it in some rice then that will draw moisture from the phone. You can also try lightly blowing around it with a hairdryer.

Did you try the wipe data/factory reset option as well?
