browsing the Opta stats, Yak is TOP of the goal scoring charts, as his shots to goals ratio is higher than his competitors.

Yakubu Everton 9 33%
Ronaldo Man Utd 9 21%
Adebayor Arsenal 9 20%
Mwaruwari Portsmouth 8 32%
Anelka Bolton 8 24%

And we are also the most accurate shooters in the league, with 52% of our shots hitting the target. 179 shots and 89 on. Better than everybody.

Nice.

Is no wonder we are doing so well at the moment, shots are coming in every where and on target more often, may be we should thank RS for the injustice by paying them three times back when we play them in March!

It would be shame when Yakubu goes off to AFNC, but all our other Striker has open account this season already, so while Yaks goes off for couple week we won't have too much problem, but the real problem is Midfield we going to need cover while Pienaar is gone and when Stubbs, Baines and Valenta recover by AFNC we could afford to let Yobo goes for few weeks as well!

Bring on Man U next Sunday we would show them we are serious on challenging for the title this year!

Are we........not this year surely. Not the most optimistic Evertonian can think that ! :D

Haha, let me say it while we still on good form, we all dream this day would come sooner rather than later!

Saying that, if fans don't believe they could do it, then how are the player going to be made to believe in themselve? So, we must have faith in them, that's a must!

And I am serious on beating Man U, if they are planning to play the way they did against RS we going beat them, did you watch the match on Sunday they were awlful only reason they won is RS couldn't convert there chance!

to be honest regardless of other teams results , its getting really scary for everton.

our destiny is in our own hands and if we win our next four games we will be in a position that we havent been in for 2 decades.

we have a damn good chance of winning the fa cup , league cup , uefa cup and wins against arsenal and man utd + the momentum gained would make us serious title contenders.a new territory for moyes and his boys.

after all the ups and downs over the past decade+ i can actually see the promised land just over the horizon.

if we do get there, i would love the fact that unlike man utd arsenal liverpool and chelsea we would have acheived our success the hard honest way instead of buying our way and corrupting the fa for our success.

That's exactly how I sees it, our destiny is in our own hand, as we already prove we could beat any body outside the so call Big 4, so getting the result off Arsenal and Man U as well, will bring us in the contention to the title!

AZ is another must win match, i don't care how we do it but it has to be a win, we cannot afford any slip up before our match against Man U next Sunday, our confident has to be high!

Essentially our destiny has always been in our hands but one can never envisage or provide for certain acts of whatever you would like to call them, such as Johnson screwing the club and Clattenburg helping the RS to 3 points. There will always be those type of factors coming into play.

But for the most part we are quite definitely getting better.

I feel kind of like the commentators in Cool Runnings finding every reason in the world for us not to be challengers for anything, but then I get all Disney'fied and, what the heck, go Toffees.
