Another kid has gone on a rampage at an American school, this time with knives, stabbing 21 students and a security guard. So far no reports of any fatalities.

Luckily he didn't have a gun or else we would no doubt be reading about 22 deaths.

I wonder if the gun lobby will finally see sense and realise that guns do indeed kill people.
Sandy Hook with guns - 27 dead, 2 injured
Murraysville with knives - 0 dead, 22 injured

I advise exercising caution before posting in this thread.

We've had the gun debate several times before and it always ends in aggro, warnings and bans. After typing, take a step back and read over your post before hitting 'send'.

Please remain sensible, adult and objective.

I hated school as much as the next lower middle class dweeb, but charging around and stabbing folk?

You want to just sit these people down and explain that school is only a small part of your life. No need to get so worked up about it

I mean, we've all had dreams of marching into school and kicking the crap out of people we don't like and then be carried off on everyone's shoulders like Rocky. But we don't do it. We just grit our teeth and get on with it

I remember getting to college and being shocked, as everyone was pretty much nice and down to Earth, including people at school who had been divs.

Most, if not all, the kids in HIGH schools hate it and just get by. When you get to college and Uni, you're actually there because you WANT to be and thus everyone is a bit less of a chore to deal with.

You don't know that when you're a miserable 15 year old though. Someone needs to come by and tell you just to hang on and make do
