Another nothing club leapfrogs Everton on the greasy pole of Premier League riches

It's not going to stay like that. They are doing retractable seating on the track and I assume they'll do something about the sightlines from the rest of the seats. They're putting £150 million into it ffs, I'm sure it will be fit to watch a game of football by the time they're finished. It's not my taste in a stadium but I'm sure the finished product won't be anything like whats there now.
Yeah I would imagine some of that 150 is going toward fixing the track problem in some way (even if removing it is apparently forbidden).

Only in England are we obsessed wth attendances and ground size.
They go on about it a lot in the US too ... I'm sure other countries too. We just hear way more about the English clubs for obvious reasons.

People on here were arguing that new stadia hasnt helped other clubs. Will Sullivan and Gold jump ship with huge payoffs due to this? As for the Hammers week to week, a 60k stadium will be nice if they can fill it, corporate on tap and a severe reduction in ticket prices for the regular fans will see that successful. Good for them. What happens to the Boleyn?

I think you need to pick up the 'English Study Guide' you discarded all them years back and get a grip on grammar. Anyway, your post is just utter tosh; there was an empty stadium that has been built and West Ham are the prefered bidders, no business sense or contacts, it was a simple process and luckily (for them) a brand new stadium fell on their lap.

And maybe the reason they've put in for it is because its not £150m they need to spend, its more £20ish, the rest coming from the public purse. Thats right, with a country up to its eyeballs in debt, people starving and pensioners freezing, WHU get a big chunk of public money to re-model this stadium

put in google translator and the translation spelt REDCOAT.

Would hate to have a stadium like that - even if they are adding seats to be closer to the pitch, going to have a horrendous atmosphere. As for West Ham i quite like them as a club, so we can hopefully see them moving up the table from 2016 onwards (just not past Everton)

Been looking at some West Ham forums and there is a mixed response. Most of the negatives are people who have actually thought about what the viewing experience will be like.

As good as Wembley is i wouldn't want to watch football matches there every week, and at the moment 30,000 of the 60,000 seats will offer a terrible viewing experience.

still furious over this wish it was [Poor language removed] us, free stadium, 3rd biggest in league, chance of billionaire buy out oh no Redcoat wouldnt have that would he Kings Dock was yours and you blew that.
