David Cameron has been told to stop making new peers as the house of lords is full.

so much for making politics more efficient and cheaper.
i wonder just how many promises have been kept/broken by this charlatan.

personally, i would only pay them after they have kept the promises they made. it would focus their minds wonderfully. maybe keep half their salaries until the end of parliment. then have an independent committee decide if they have done enough to get the rest.

Or is he doing what Labour did for 13 years. Promise electoral reform and only put it in as a last minute sop to the electorate.

Or their plans to reform Parliament, which was constantly put on the back burner.

Not saying that your point is wrong, just that he' acting no different from Labour did for years.

And Labour would argue they sought only to address 18 years of tory rule in regards to the upper house,the system is a farce though to create 117 is it? in 10 months is going some.

I don't think that's realistic as people in all walks of life believe they can do something only for circumstances to conspire against it.

I think the lords does do an important job it tries at least to stop the excesses of the government of the day reform is needed though and i'm sure an elected house would work as most people are apathetic to voting full stop

I think Cuba's political system is pretty cool. I don't like china's take on it much though.

I must admit that the lizardman is committing treason against Britain's political system and Britain itself with every breath he takes is disappointing.
