Under 7000 to go.

Any signatures to date duly appreciated. One last push and we've given this mum the inquest she so duly deserves before she dies.

Don't believe the Attorney General's hype my friend. The petition has only been one angle. All pro Hillsborough MP's and journalists haven't let him go on his statement that he cannot do anything.

They said we would be looking for a black cat in a dark room that wasn't there too once ;-)

Honestly mate, I hope she gets it. I just don't think the government would allow that kind of precedent to be set.

Not looking good

An application to quash the Hillsborough inquest verdicts will be made next month, the Attorney General has announced.

But Dominic Grieve said he could not speed up a new inquest into the death of Kevin Williams, whose mother, Anne, is terminally ill.

Mr Grieve told the Commons he had made "good progress" in drawing up the High Court application.

He told MPs: "I expect to make that application in December."

Mr Grieve said he would not make a separate application to fast-track 15-year-old Kevin's inquest.

Speeding up his inquest is being considered for a Parliamentary debate

Damned shame. Unless bringing the inquest forward means evidence might be missed, I can't see what harm it would do.

I can't believe that this brave lady is still fighting for justice even when she is fighting for her life. My eldest is nearing the age that her son and others died at Hillsborough - even though justice has not been delivered to the victims and their families yet, I thank God that my children can go to a game safely today.

Even in the absence of justice and the terrible circumstances of their deaths, they did not die in vain.

Rest in peace all those that died on the Leppings Lane.
