Escaflowne which I liked alot (that's the series the movie is pants)
Thats the one :)

I thought i was describing about 100 other ones then lol

Liked it for my limited anime knowledge until the prince and the princess part if you know what i mean

Can anyone point me to the correct Ghost in the shell and Cowboy bebop to get. There are so many variables on Ebay it kills me.

I have watched loads of Ghibli and Akira, Lupin 3rd etc but want to watch some more.

This might be the greatest thing ever and you should watch it even if you never saw and Evagelion or any anime before.

part 2

part 3

part 4

I'm usually not into super violent (and usually angsty) anime so I never thought Attack on Titan was going to be my thing. I'm glad I'm wrong its the best anime of 2014.

Bump. I started watching Attack on Titan and it is fantastic. Some of the episodes drag moments out to needless lengths (that's anime, I suppose) but the bulk of it is great.

Give us a synopsis there, chum.
"They arrive in silence and darkness. They descend from the skies. They have a hunger for human flesh. They are everywhere. They are parasites, alien creatures who must invade—and take control of—a human host to survive. And once they have infected their victims, they can assume any deadly form they choose: monsters with giant teeth, winged demons, creatures with blades for hands. But most have chosen to conceal their lethal purpose behind ordinary human faces, so no one knows their secret—except an ordinary high school student. Shinichi is battling for control of his own body against an alien parasite, but can he find a way to warn humanity of the horrors to come?"

Haha, sounds proper daft like. In terms of anime its good though

No, that sounds just about right up my alley, cheers! I've heard things about Deathnote too, although it will be a while until I get around seeing it. Attack on Titan and The Strain are taking up all of my time.

enjoyed the first series, havent got past the first ep of second! worth continuing?
On a side note Mushi shi is superb.

I didn't like the 1st story arc of SAO season 2 but quite a few people did. The final story arc of SAO 2, Kirito becomes a supporting character, which is what he should have been all along, and the anime becomes great. The final episode of the season is one of the best episodes I ever saw of any anime.

After Full Metal Alchemist what did the author do for an encore? Well she wrote Silver Spoon, which is a anime about........farming. However here's the thing, its been reallly f-in good, and next to Attack on Titan its one of my favorite animes of 2014. I think its the highest rated anime on crunchyroll.
