Anichebe

Not sure how the rest of you lot feel, but I've had it with Anichebe. He seems COMPLETELY disinterested on the pitch. Not trying. Just a big blob that can't run and takes up space. Can anybody convince me that he's actually worth it?

No, hes useless and sadly we gave him a new contract, makes me sick watching him wear the blue shirt.

Glad you said this, i've been neg repped for saying he is tripe in the past, he has always been ( to me) the absolute last choice striker, i much preferred Vaughany above him ( from the young'ns ) shocked he was given a major contract, and even kept on.

At least we will get a fee for him now, when we wouldn't have if he let his contract dwindle down.

Besides, there's still time. If he doesn't step it up next season then I'd think he'll be off.

I still think he's alright on the wing, he can improve a lot though. Surprised you bring this up, when we still have a right back as woeful as Neville starting every game!

This is likely to happen- no brainer to give him the contract at around £1m per year, as any money already paid out in wages if sold will be recouped. The contract wasn't given because DM believes in his ability 100%-far from it, despite him coming on ahead of Beckford at Arsenal. He'll get more gametime with us, but we do need better.

I've been saying it for yonks tbh. I don't rate him whatsoever. People were saying he had a good game at blackburn last season, I was looking directly down on him and he was utter gash, failing to play Baines in on the wing and cutting inside then going down expecting a free kick every time. BADLY GASH !!

His ability to whine and plead for every call to go his way drives me NUTS. Look, some of them should, but the rest of the team has moved on and is PLAYING and you're still prostrate whining! GET UP.

He's not the most gifted player technically but he seems to be a moyes type of player a workhorse and a passionate blue ala Hibbert, Osman, Neville etc...

I don't rate him igly but Moyes won't let him go easily.

He seemed to be a better player a few years ago. Footie finances are really out of wack when anichebe gets offered 30K/week and turns it down because someone else will probably pay him more.
