Anyone think fellani should drop back in midfield with gibson and play jelavic and anichebe in the fellani role

He's shown today how dangerous he can be upfront.

Osman should be dropped, Gibson and Fellaini in CM, Jelavic and Anichebe upfront.

I think we should. Swap Felli and Osman. We concede so many crappy goals. Need to take more control of the midfield and stop players running through us

Two of their goals today were just long punts down the middle in which JH messed both up the first one had me wondering if he was inpersonating a statue - the other was him claiming offside which led to the corner then a free header from the pen spot by them no height again in the centre of defence!

Didn't work against Bolton. I'm not convinced it's a natural partnership.

I think it might work if Anichebe would play further and Jelavic in turn in a slightly deeper role. I'd like Anichebe to do the fast runs and play his back to the goal with Jelavic finishing things. Or something. I'd also like Fellaini to drop back deeper to win important balls.

Fellini looked most dangerous in the second half when he played deeper and came forward, if we don't use our midfield for a) not good enough or b) being outplayed then if we pump long balls in more of a result with two up front.

We are weak in the middle and need someone to put themselves about, his goals are a bonus and not the reason to play him out of position.

If his goals dried up would we drop him, I don't think so.

Have not bitched about the result today even though defensively we were poor but it is Villa and they always seem to do well against us.
