Clearly oblivious to the fact he wouldn't be sat in that big shiny new stadium behind him if it wasn't for Wenger, and he certainly wouldn't have this incredible expectation of the club to be constantly successful which was again born from Wenger's time at the club.

Wonder if he'd take Rioch back? The stupid fat ****.
 


Arsene Wenger made that side invincible and then oversaw the building of a stadium that will ensure the future survival of the club for decades to come

He had a bad result on the opening day and has tried to spend the big money this year. Even with a weaker side than most he's had them dining at Europe's top table and frequently gets out of the UCL group stages

I'm not sure they do though mate, granted some of them express their view in a way that just makes them look like knobheads but I think they have a fair point.

I do too. Obviously this guy is all emotional, but he is right.

I can't decide what would be more frustating.

As Everton fans we get annoyed at not spending money, but we know we don't have the money.

But they have money, and don't spend it. Well annoying!

To be fair if you look at the last couple of years he has spent a fair bit of money, he just seems to address the wrong areas of the team when he spends it though and overloads it with Attacking players, it makes for great viewing but their defence is ****e.

I genuinely think if they had a couple of top class centre backs and possibly a different keeper then they'd be right up there, but when your defensive signings include Laurent Koscielny (overrated), Sebastien Squillaci, Andre Santos and Carl Jenkinson, and an ageing Mertesacker who is slower than most corpses, what does he expect?
 
For how long should historic achievements excuse you of present failures? Wenger revitalised the club enormously, and in his first 7-8-9 years they were excellent. Over the last three or four seasons they've lost almost every one of their top players, replaced them inadequately, slipped very far behind the manchester clubs and Chelsea, and look very likely to fall behind Spurs this season.

Wenger should be credited for building the club up to the point that Arsenal fans have every right to be p*ssed at what's happening now.
