Player Valuation: £500k
seeing as we are getting so short of midfield players , what do you think of getting avdm back in the fold ? the 4-5-1 system would really suit him as he is a player who can not only hold a ball, but he really sees a pass. if only he coukld buy into david moyes's work ethic. steven peinaar has and is not only blossoming, but really looks like he is enjoying his football at everton.
andy, if you are reading this. give it a go. i think that the fans have been very fair with avdm. it could be a great time for a career ressurrection

If there was ever a time for him to play, now would be it.

Of course I said that about the AZ match and look at how that turned out.

But I am quite interested in this part of the article:-

Pienaar's spell in Holland saw him emerge as one of South Africa's brightest footballing talents. He slotted into a free-flowing attacking team alongside the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Andy van der Meyde, and gained valuable Champions League experience along the way.

I wonder if Pienaar could help VDM regain confidence and his games during his days with Ajax, that's certainly what we did hope for, we didn't paid alot for him and it's not too late to repaid us now, and we needed talent now more than ever!

if we had a fully fit vdm it would be great, we are short in midfeild and i would love to see him out on the left. but it seems every time he has a chance to play, he gets injured ( much like faddy). i hope he has a better run of luck this year !

We've all been very patient with vdm, but that's quickly running out. I agree, now would be the perfect time to make another comeback.

He is a problem lads, whenever he actually play for us he looks good and in fact when ever he play we seems to win our matches, so we know he got quality.

If he has recover would like to see him given a chance in Oldham game!
