I haven't heard that mate but It smacks of kopites (not necessarily your mate obviously) trying to cover a pretty crappy handling of the whole situation by claiming its in fact a 'cunning plan' . It could obviously be true though but sounds unlikely

I dont think Carroll is anywhere near as ****e as people are making him out to be. He's never a £35 million pound player but in a team that plays to his strengths he could be a huge asset. I've got a feeling he'll end up have a cracking season for someone!

Too much pressure, and playing on a new team in disarray it was pretty obvious that it was going to be tough for him. However he's going to turn out to be quite good pretty quick. I will be happy when they get rid of him.

I think your probably right mate he's not a bad player but their manager doesn't rate him & the system doesn't favour him so if he stays the best he can hope for is a few cameo appearances. If he moves on I think he'll have a decent year, if he moves and scores early after his move he could fly

I have always said that if you stick him in a team that plays with 2 good wingers who can deliver balls into the box he will score all day...........aside from that he's pretty ordinary at best.
