ha ha, they are just small boxes or log books people hide in different places, top of snowdon mountain was one i have found, another was in the barrel of a bikelock on a stand outside chester cathedral lol.... it's a bit of fun for the kids on a day out too.
The whole point of it is to find the hide, sign it and replace it without being seen.
