And we are talking about buying?

Ralphie Boy

Player Valuation: £8m
So, our not so nice neighbours are talking about Balotelli or Huntellar as a replacement for Vampire, this is after they have spent a small fortune already, and the sum total of Everton's business is to sign a non playing Tony Hibbert (33?) for a further two years and are still in protracted discussions with Gareth Barry!

Is out pot so bare that this is it?

Yes it is a world cup year, but should that not mean that we should have known who we are interested in and snapped them up before they have a good competition?

I know lots of other teams have not bought but those above us can pick and choose as they have the money and those below have to wait for the scraps but where does that put us?

If we really do want to progress to the next level we should be out getting our targets before they go elsewhere, and if they dont want to commit until after the world cup then look somewhere else as they obviously are just using us.

Get a grip Everton.....................

Rant over, got Costa Rica in the sweep so a win against the Cloggies gives me £20 guaranteed fourth place, maybe i could help with the signings?

Agree at the lack of movement, our first 6 fixtures include 3 of the top 4 teams, we can't afford to wait till 5 minutes before the deadline to signing players as usual, our season could be over by then. Saying this, in Roberto we must trust

Until you become mentally stable again I think I'd rather you didn't.

We are one day in to the transfer window. 36 hours have passed, I don't think it's Everton who need to get a grip.

Rich teams like Spurs, Arsenal and Southampton have signed nobody yet.

Maybe we didn't agree to sign anyone before the WC because they didn't want to be signed?

Lukaku is more than likely top of our wanted list, right? Why would he want to sign for Europa League Everton when he may have an incredible WC and attract bids from bigger Champions League clubs. Once Belgium are done and Lukaku knows his options we will know if we can sign him or not and then if not we'll go with plan B which is likely someone like Bony or Remy.

We'll be alright mate.

Good luck with the sweep mate, I think you're in with a good chance of £20 there.

As for transfer frustration, chill out a bit and go and vent your frustrations in http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/the-summer-2014-everton-related-transfers-thread.67236 , a thread dedicated to rumours, frustration, general moments of madness with the odd lucid moment thrown in. (y)
