Uefa have decided to stage the Euro 2020 tournament in a number of cities across the continent, rather than adopt one national host.

More details will be released soon.

Another good move by Platini & Co.

Shows how much they care about the fans. Gonna be tricky and expensive for fans to follow the tournament, lots of travelling. Obviously they'll try and make it easy but either way some fans are going to end up suffering.

How can they possibly make it easy for the fans?

Unless they put England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in the same group. Oh wait.

Not really sure what the problem is with this tbh. If we're talking major cities then travel plans will actually be made easier. Sure, it might be more expensive, but you can guarantee airlines will run deals which allow the hardcore fans to see all of the games.

Could be good, bit stupid bashing it before the proper plans have even come out. I'd much rather go to Paris, Barcelona and Munich to watch group games than three matches in Poland.

How about they make it the UEFA European Champions Euro League International and just do home and away fixtures to see who is really the best team.

It completely looses the atmosphere and magic of having one host nation.

It'll just be the champions league but with countries. Utterly shocking decision. One which again leaves the fans in last for consideration and lines the pockets of the officials.

Don't be a silly billy

It's the next logical step tho. 105 teams in 21 groups of five playing each other home and away across Europe, with the top two from each group going through to the knockout rounds to be played in the next summer tournament and the third place team qualifying for a mini-league of bull**** with all the minor European nations included to keep everyone happy.

BrownZ can you stop swearing please.

Works fine in the rugby six nations but surely this is too large a scale... hm...
Is it gonna be random cities ie England play France in Germany, or will England play their games at Wembley, Spain play in Spain etc? cause that would be kinda cool if it's feasible (which I'm not convinced of)
