Maybe one or twice a season, you go to an away ground and enjoy a perfect day.

Anyone who was at Chelsea last year in the cup will know what i mean. Just a special day for what ever reason.

Yestarday at Swansea was the best away game of the season by a mile, now loads of us travel up an down the country week in week out and to be fair we just witness crap...

Things like spurs wednesday nights, QPR, Wigan, City, Arsenal etc,etc..

But it's all worth it for days like yesterday. The sun was shining, the weather was hot an the beer was cold. Once again a great followong and there fans were great never stoped singing, An neither did we....

Had such a good day, lets hope Tuesday night is better!!!
 

Nice one mate. Just hope you make a new thread on Tuesday night, or more likely Wednesday, about how it was even better at the SOL.

made up fo` ya. glad the jackers had a good day too watching a proper team, ha ha. the swansea lad on here yesterday seemed a nice fellow, good attitude buzzin off his team. they look down on the kopites too which is always a good sign
 
last time i went to the stadium of light barmby played for us and we lost 2-1 '98 or summat hope we fare better thi s time just sharing that

Well said mate, I was there yesterday and totally agree. Best away day of the season so far. Decent stadium and good facilties too.

The Welsh were a very friendly lot. You go some places and the stewards are arseholes, but the Swansea lads were all sound. There was a lad on the gate who was apologising for searching people, and he was a bouncer-looking bloke with a tan and De Niro 'Taxi Driver'-like mohican. He was having a great craic with the lads, funny bloke.

Glad Swansea are going to stay up, that will be a good away day next season again hopefully.

Gutted i missed out, koff unemployment
 

my first ever everton away game and thoroughly enjoyed it, gotta say we didnt sing much in the first half hour, but it was basically watching swansea pass it around for that time. lovely day, the only downer was when i got home and read that the everton team were having a stroll down the beach ah 11.45, the very time i was supose to be down there but only got down there an hour later due to my lazy ass norwegian friends, ah well, next year maybe, buzzing for tuesday now
 
I was there mate best match I have been to by a mile.

Singing kenny's cracking up walking out was quite sweet too.

Did anyone go get a beer at half time?

Took me 15 mins to get one, I came out from the stand as Baines placed the ball, I then when bat sh*t crazy!
