just like when i and many on here called for mascherano to be red carded when he slapped aliadiere last season.

Behave. It's a contact sport. If he punched him then fair enough but a red card for that would have been a shambles. There's a serious problem in football of a lack of respect from both sides. Look at rugby and you simply don't see it. The League match on Friday involved a dust up with proper punches shown on both sides, 10 minutes in the sin bin to calm things down and the game went on. Referees don't explain their decisions to fans so I doubt they explain them to players either. Maybe if they treated them like adults they'd get better behaviour in return.
