I follow Everton F.C. since the 80's.

Since I can watch the Everton games live here in Germany, I've registered here.

Nobody will believe me, but I became an Evertonian when I first read the name FC Everton in a football magazine in the GDR when I was about 8 years old.
I just liked the name. "Everton"...
For me as an East German, England was as far away as the moon.

I then only saw the results of the games, then later read about the championships and the FA Cup victories.

Unfortunately, I had 2 buddies who felt they belonged to the Reds. To this day I still don't understand how one can be a red.
It doesn't matter, we still understand each other. ;-)
One of them even brought me an Everton jersey. ))
A West Ham fan brought me my current one.

Now I'm trying to somehow get into the Goodison before it's torn down.
I hope I can still do it.
Not because of the demolition, but because of health.
